Welcome!

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 750's website!

What is Scouting? Scouting is a program that focuses on developing citizenship, character, and fitness in our members. We use the Oath and Law as our guide in all that we do. The "Aims & Methods" link on the left explains our program more fully.

We are an active, boy-led Troop. Use the other links on the left to learn more about the exciting opportunities our Troop offers. Scroll down to see an outline of our monthly themes, trips, and service opportunities.

You must have an account to access our detailed event calendar.

Meetings

Troop 750 meets on Thursday nights from 7pm - 8:30 pm at Pinnacle Lutheran Church, 250 Pinnacle Road, Rochester, NY 14623.  Click here for a map.

Youth leaders are expected to be 10 to 15 minutes early and can expect to leave up to 10 or 15 minutes later each night.

Our Scouts primarily come from the Rush-Henrietta Central School District, and we generally follow their schedule.  If school is out for a break or vacation, we usually won't have a regular meeting.  We may have a special event, though, so follow the calendar closely.

Meetings begin and end with a basic flag ceremony, including the Pledge of Allegiance, the Scout Oath, the Outdoor Code, the Scout Law, and a Scoutmaster Minute.  Meetings usually include a skills session, time for patrol work, an inter-patrol activity, and time permitting, a game.

Our troop uses service patrols.  Scouts in the service patrol are expected to arrive a few minutes early to set up and arrange the room and stay a few extra minutes at the end of the meeting to restore the room to order and help move program supplies out to cars.  When partrols work as a team, we are truly only asking for a few minutes from each scout at the start and end of each meeting.  Thanks for your help with this.

2018-2019 Program Sumary

We have an annual planning and camping event each summer, where all the scouts in attendance prepare a framework for the program for the year.

Elected youth leaders then meet monthly to bring that framework to life. See the Youth Leaders link on the left for more information.
