Cub Scout Pack 1776 is based in Hillsborough, NJ and is chartered by the Neshanic Reformed Church which is located at 715 Amwell Road.  Pack 1776 is part of the Patriot Path Council.  The pack typically draws Scouts from Woodfern Elementary School and Auten Road Intermediate School, but welcomes from all schools.  While the pack is sponsored by the Church, all scouts and families of all faiths are invited to join.

Kindergarten to 5th Grade may join Cub Scouts.

The purpose of the Cub Scouting program is to teach values and have fun!  The program prepares the scouts for a transition into Boy Scouts as well.

Scouts are placed in dens based age and gender. Dens typically consist of eight to ten boys in the same grade. Dens meet once or twice a month.  The pack meets once a month usually on the third Friday in the hall at the Church.

The pack runs various activities throughout the year.  Some of these include Movie Night, Popcorn Sale, Pumpkin Sale, Pumpkin Carving, Fall Camping, Fall Hiking, Rocket Launch, Winter Sleepover, Pinewood Derby, Fishing Derby, Pack Picnic, and Spring Camping.

The pack participates in many community service activities as well such as The Hillsborough HOP 5k, Operation Shoebox, and various others.

Cub Scout Pack 1776 is family oriented.  All family members are welcome at all events.
